أكَّد مجلس حكماء المسلمين أن التعدديَّة سنة كونيَّة، وأن التنوع والاختلاف في الدين واللون والجنس والعرق واللغة حكمة لمشيئة إلهية، قد خلق الله البشر عليها، وجعلها أصلًا ثابتًا تتفرَّع عنه حقوق الاعتقاد وحريته، وحرية الاختلاف، وتجريم إكراه النَّاس على دين بعينه أو ثقافة محددة، أو فرض أسلوب حضاري لا يقبله الآخر .
وقال المجلس، في بيانٍ له بمناسبة اليوم الدولي لتعددية الأطراف والدبلوماسية من أجل السلام الذي تحتفي به الأمم المتحدة في الـ 24 من إبريل كل عام، إنَّه يجب العمل على الإعلاء من قيم التعددية وقبول الآخر واحترامه، وأن يكون هذا الأساس هو منطلقَ الحوار بين مختلف الأديان والثقافات والحضارات من أجل عالمٍ ينعم فيه الجميع بالسلام والأمن والاستقرار .
ويبذل مجلس حكماء المسلمين برئاسة فضيلة الإمام الأكبر أ. د. أحمد الطيب، شيخ الأزهر الشريف، رئيس مجلس حكماء المسلمين، جهودًا متعددة في تعزيز قيم الحوار والتعايش المشترك بين جميع البشر على اختلافهم وتنوعهم، إيمانًا منه بأن التعدديَّة وقبول الآخر تمثل ركيزةً أساسيةً في تعزيز السلام والتعايش الإنساني المشترك .
Muslim Council of Elders celebrates the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace: Diversity is a universal norm as well as differences which are a divine wisdom

The Muslim Council of Elders has reaffirmed that diversity is a universal norm as well as differences in religion, color, gender, race, and language, which are wisdom for the divine will. On the occasion of the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace, celebrated by the United Nations on April 24 of each year, the Council emphasized that Almighty Allah created humans on this basis and made it a stable foundation from which rights, freedom of belief, differences, and the criminalization of compelling people to a specific religion, culture, or civilization that others do not accept, branch out .
The Council also called for the promotion of the values of diversity and accepting and respecting others, and that this should be the starting point for dialogue among different religions, cultures, and civilizations, for a world in which everyone enjoys peace, security, and stability .
Under the Chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, the Muslim Council of Elders declared its conserted efforts to promote dialogue and coexistence among all people, believing that diversity and accepting others are fundamental pillars in enhancing peace and coexistence .
